Cells

In biology, cells are defined as the basic unit of life. All living things are made from one or more cells. This is one of the most fundamental concepts of biology -that we are made of building blocks called cells. A small unit that groups together to form tissues, from tissues to organs, organs to organisms, organisms to communities, communities to civilizations. Hoechst is a chemical that can be used to stain cells by binding to DNA. Imagine a chemical that allows us to see the very unit that builds us and everything we know of the living world. A peek into ourselves, a peek into the world.
